The City of Sharonville Announces Road Work
SHARONVILLE, Ohio (July 7, 2008)– The City of Sharonville, in conjunction with the Ohio Department of Transportation, will start a resurfacing project for U.S. Route 42 on July 14, 2008.  Repairs and surface restoration will occur over the entire length of this roadway within the City of Sharonville and will take approximately 6 weeks to complete.  Work will commence at Fields Ertel Road and will progress south.  The majority of the paving operations will occur at night; however, these operations will be conducted during daytime hours in the downtown Sharonville area adjacent to residential areas.  Some minor delays should be expected during this time as motorists will encounter periodic lane restrictions.

Sharonville Convention Center Expansion

Two grants for funding the design of the Sharonville Convention Center Expansion were approved by the Hamilton County Commission in February 2007 and the State of Ohio in December 2006. The renovation will include ballroom, meeting rooms, and support services. The 65,700 sq.ft. addition will consist of an exhibit hall, retail space, additional meeting rooms, and support services.

Sharonville Northern Lights - a project aimed at revitalizing the Chester Road Corridor and creating a regional destination with unique and memorable identity.
